Description
- PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) splitter is a type of optical power management device that is manufactured using silica optical waveguide technology, and is used to distribute optical signals from Central Office (CO) to multiple local locations.
- Stranded ABS PLC splitter is most commonly used in PON networks. Provides the highest degree of protection for internal optical components and fiber cable. It is designed to facilitate installation and is a very reliable element, with its greater volume being the only negative side.
- It is mainly used for various connection and distribution products or network cabinets.
